BLACK IN BLUE KY PREMIERE

Sydney planned and coordinated the Kentucky premiere of "Black in Blue", a documentary film about four African American football players who broke the color line at UK. She collaborated with several university offices to premiere the film in recognition of the University of Kentucky's 70th year of Integration and Black History Month. In addition to the film premiere, Sydney planned a cocktail meet and greet with the film stars and coordinated a panel discussion following the premiere. Sydney also coordinated with local media to increase coverage of the film premiere.
